Data centers

A data centre is a specialized space for placing substantial amounts of computer technology server-type equipment designed for non-stop operation. It’s a place that ensures the stable operation of servers and other technological devices without being disturbed by surrounding influences. The nature and function of data centres also require specific solutions for this segment in which SIS operates.

One of the main requirements is a good-quality and backed-up electrical distribution and power supply network, air-conditioned redundant and sufficiently fast connections to the computer network, raised floor, in many cases a suspended ceiling, security and safety of the building, good access records for people entering the premises data centre, sufficiently robust fire suppression systems and equipment, dust-free environment.

With the growing impact on the quality, quantity of transmission and preservation of information data, the number of data centres in the Czech republic is growing. We have implemented a number of data centers, whether the largest in the country, medium or smaller.

Our division of raised flooring is particularly active in this area, thanks to the quality of our system and certified solution of our raised flooring and, above all, due to the quality, high professionalism and many years of experience of our raised floor team.

We cooperate with designers, coming up with detailed designs and specific tailor-made solutions.
