Dr. Max Zličín and I.P.Pavlova

We were doing a comprehensive reconstruction of two pharmacies Dr Max. The projects included complete demolition, rebuilding, electrical and HVAC work. We creatively played not only with the interior of these stores but also with their external appearance. For us is important to create projects which fit sensitively into its surrounding.

For example, one of the pharmacies was located in the Vinohrady district on Bělehradská Street. This neighbourhood is characterised by its typical architecture of historical buildings. We wanted our store to be in harmony with this environment, so we modified the entrance portal and equipped it with a distinctive green facade. This makes it resonate with the historical architecture of Vinohrady. When entering the pharmacy, the customer finds himself in a modern store that we have built on 163 m2. We built the interior using new partitions, suspended ceilings, repairs to existing walls and new paving, and removal and modification of the boarding arm. For this project, we completely demolished the original place and converted it into a new shop. For this project, we completely demolished the original area and transformed it into a new store. It took us only 35 days from the construction site handover to the shop handover to the client.

We also implemented the second Dr Max store in Metropole shopping mall, and we came up with a completely different approach there. We created a modern glass entrance, making the store fit perfectly into the shopping mall environment. We opted for a minimalist look with glass walls, with only one element in the facade – the company’s name lit up. This means that incoming customers can see the entire shop area at a glance and get an accessible overview of the product range.
